“The Feminists movements’ long-term affect on society must be mentioned. One example is the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, which in my book is such at great ruling that it trumps the Plessy v. Ferguson decision, that granted woman the right of having an abortion on demand. God bless the Supreme Court Justices on their unmistakably correct decision to allow woman to discard unwanted products when wanted. Nay, God Bless people for exercising this basic human right! We have, since 1973, had more than 50,000,000 abortions all within our nation. Take this moment to turn to your seat partner and shake their hand. Why? BECAUSE WE BEAT HITLER! Yes, after all this time we have finally beat Germany! They might have gotten our steel and car industry, but we trumped them in killing people! Whoop whoop! And you know what’s even better? WE BEAT STALIN, HITLER, CHAIRMAN MAO, AND MUSSOLINI COMBINED! They thought they were so badass in killing people, but this is just a reminder that America does everything bigger and better.”—
wow shut the fuck up (some [heterosexual male] kid in my AP US History class talking about abortion)
Can I fucking punch him for you? It can be like a punch and run. You send me a picture of him, and one day at lunch I just pop up and knock his teeth out, then dougie out and never visit your school again.

“I know many of you have probably already read [dumb kid]’s scathing criticism of the decisions made in the court case Roe v. Wade. I am pro-choice, and I respect the opinions of those who are pro-life - however, [dumb kid], would you rather have the rulings made in Roe v. Wade deemed invalid, and have women go back to drinking turpentine, or going to back-alley, shady “doctors” who will remove the fetus with a rusty coathanger, possibly causing horrible internal bleeding, infection, and death? “Oh, but they could just put the child up for adoption!” Adoption is a lengthy, expensive process that does not guarantee a child a better life; many couples are already looking to orphanages in poorer countries, where there are less hoops to jump through and less expenses to be paid when adopting a child. And that’s not even mentioning the nine months of extreme stress placed upon a woman’s body during pregnancy, coupled with the traumatic experience of childbirth itself. Did you know that one in seven women (even in the United States) face serious complications during childbirth? While some may be willing to go through such an ordeal for a child that they would immediately give up afterward, some may not, and for them Roe v. Wade gives them the freedom to make that choice. Bodily integrity - the inviolability of one’s body - is an extremely important step forward in women’s rights that should not be so quickly damned.”
so there’s that
